Cardboard Drum Kit

When most people think of cardboard, a professional drum kit probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. That's exactly why Ernest Packaging teamed up with Masterwork Drums to build one.

The goal was to see how far engineered materials could be pushed in the hands of experienced builders. To put the kit to the test, Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots sat behind it, proving these drums are much more than a novelty. The project is a reminder that innovation often starts by looking at familiar materials in a completely different way.
