Cardboard Telecaster

The Telecaster is one of the most enduring designs in music, so rebuilding it in cardboard meant getting every silhouette and switch right. Ernest Packaging partnered with Fender Custom Shop master builder Paul Waller to laminate honeycomb corrugate into a body and neck that hold hardware, intonate, and stay in tune.

The finished guitar landed in the hands of Robby Krieger of The Doors and got signed backstage by Dweezil Zappa. Proof that with the right craftsmanship, a material most people throw away can hold its own alongside the classics.
